Server Full in Once Human? Understanding and Solutions

Encountering a “server full” message in Once Human can be a frustrating roadblock, especially when you’re eager to jump into the game. This guide breaks down why you might be seeing this message and, more importantly, what you can do about it. If you’re facing the Server Is Full Once Human error, you’re in the right place to understand and resolve it.

What to Do When the Server is Full

When you’re met with the “server full” notification, you might feel stuck. Fortunately, there are a couple of straightforward solutions to get you back into the game and exploring the post-apocalyptic world of Once Human. Here are the primary ways to bypass the Once Human server full issue:

Join a New Server

The most direct solution when you find a Once Human server is full is to simply choose a different server. The game typically offers a selection of servers, and those that are less populated will be open for new players. Often, these are the servers that have been most recently launched. Opting for a newer server means you’ll be starting in the early stages of the current game Season, alongside other new players. This can be a great way to begin your adventure without waiting for server capacity to free up.

Utilize Server Invitations

With the 1.1 Update, NetEase introduced a helpful feature to tackle the server full Once Human problem: server invitation codes. These special codes are located within your Player Info screen and are designed to allow you to invite friends to join you on a server that’s currently at capacity.

Keep in mind that each character has a limited number of invitations, specifically 5. While these invitations offer a way to bypass the full server message, there’s still a chance that even with an invitation, you might not be able to join if the server has reached its absolute maximum player limit.

Why is the Server Full in Once Human?

Understanding why servers become full can help you anticipate and navigate these situations more effectively. Here are the main reasons behind the Once Human server is full message:

Server Registration Limit Reached

Servers in Once Human have a registration limit. Each server is composed of multiple Worlds, and once enough players have registered accounts within a server across these Worlds, it reaches its full capacity. When this happens, new players are prevented from joining, and the game displays the “Server full. Please select another one.” error message. This system is in place to ensure server stability and performance for all players currently in the game.

Difficulty Playing With Friends

The server is full Once Human issue becomes particularly relevant when you’re trying to team up with friends. While finding an open server as a solo player is usually manageable, joining friends on a specific, potentially full, server can be challenging.

The introduction of invitation codes in the 1.1 Update was a direct response to this issue, providing players with a tool to coordinate and play together even when servers are crowded. However, as mentioned before, these invitations are not a guaranteed pass if the server is completely maxed out.

Server Full Despite Low Population Indicator

You might notice servers displaying a “Low Population” status even when they are marked as full for registration. This discrepancy arises because the Population metric shown in the server list doesn’t reflect the total number of registered players. Instead, it indicates the number of players currently active or logged into the server. A server can reach its registration cap, preventing new players from joining, regardless of the current active player count shown by the Population indicator. Therefore, even a server with “Low Population” can still be a server is full Once Human.
