Huawei’s EulerOS 2.0 operating system, designed for its KunLun mission-critical servers, has officially attained the prestigious UNIX 03 certification from The Open Group. This significant achievement formally recognizes Huawei EulerOS 2.0 as a certified UNIX system, marking a crucial step in the evolution of server technology and open architecture.
This certification is pivotal for enterprises seeking to migrate their core business applications from closed architecture mission-critical servers, such as those based on RISC and EPIC, to the open x86 architecture of KunLun mission-critical servers.
