Convergint Technologies Strengthens Financial Service Offerings with BranchServ Acquisition

Convergint Technologies, a global leader in service-based systems integration, has officially announced the acquisition of Custom Vault Corporation, encompassing its specialized BranchServ division. This strategic move significantly enhances Convergint’s capabilities within the financial market, particularly in providing comprehensive Branch Serve solutions.

This acquisition positions Convergint as an even stronger partner for financial institutions seeking to optimize their operations, reduce costs, and improve customer experiences. By integrating BranchServ’s expertise, Convergint is projected to manage over 250,000 service calls annually, marking an impressive 80 percent increase from its 2020 performance. This growth underscores Convergint’s commitment to delivering unparalleled service and support within the critical financial sector.

“We are thrilled to welcome the talented teams and valued customers of BranchServ and CustomVault to the Convergint family,” stated Ken Lochiatto, CEO of Convergint Technologies. “This acquisition accelerates our strategic expansion within the financial industry, enabling us to better serve the extensive branch networks across the United States. Together, we will continue to prioritize a people-first approach, fostering a culture of inclusion and support, and reinforcing our commitment to being the best service provider for our customers, especially in the crucial area of branch serve and related services.”

Custom Vault Corporation, established in 1984, has a long-standing reputation for designing and installing high-security modular vault solutions across diverse sectors, including government, healthcare, and finance. In 1999, recognizing the unique needs of the financial industry, Custom Vault launched BranchServ. BranchServ quickly became a leading provider of security and automation equipment and services specifically tailored for financial institutions nationwide, focusing on efficient and reliable branch serve.

Tom Brennan, CEO of Custom Vault Corporation, emphasized the strong cultural alignment between the two companies as a key factor in the acquisition. “The shared values and customer-centric approach of Convergint resonated deeply with our own principles at Custom Vault and BranchServ,” Brennan commented. “Combining our specialized expertise and resources with Convergint’s global platform will undoubtedly propel our business forward, allowing us to deliver an even higher level of service and innovation in branch serve and beyond.”

The acquisition of Custom Vault Corporation, including BranchServ, represents Convergint’s 44th acquisition since 2014, demonstrating the company’s consistent growth and strategic expansion in key markets.
