Hello everyone, we have some significant news regarding Instant Dodge and our future in competitive Dead by Daylight. This announcement might come as a shock, but Instant Dodge will be ceasing operations as a competitive team in the Dead by Daylight esports scene. This decision, while difficult, was finalized prior to our participation in BOTB.
Founded over two years ago, Instant Dodge began as a group of aspiring players with limited competitive experience. Over time, we evolved, adapted, and grew into a recognizable team within the Dead by Daylight community. Throughout our journey, we experienced roster changes, but the core spirit and dedication remained constant. We want to extend heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of this team, especially those who were there from the very beginning. Your support and commitment were instrumental in our growth, both as players and as a community.
Our original roster, consisting of BattleGuy, Financial Stability, Blazer3678, and Chaos Nightmare, laid the foundation for Instant Dodge. I am eternally grateful for these individuals; the memories forged with them will always be cherished. This incredible journey would not have been possible without their initial involvement and unwavering dedication.
Further down the line, PrimalGray, JTrain, and VeryTrackDisco became integral parts of our active roster. They significantly contributed to the unforgettable experiences and successes we achieved as Instant Dodge. Their time with the team is deeply appreciated.
We also want to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our substitutes: PaigePlatypus, FoggyOggy, Cats4Bats, Piper, HunkyGod, LeAngryBanana, DevilsTrill, Bryan_S, and Brody69Stud. These players willingly stepped into the substitute role and consistently supported us throughout our competitive endeavors. The friendships formed with each of you are something I deeply value and will never forget.
A special mention goes to Brody69Stud, someone I’ve known for a long time. Brody played a key role in the very creation of Instant Dodge, even helping to brainstorm and finalize our team name. He was initially intended to be a co-owner and competitor, showcasing his early belief in the team’s potential.
Finally, we extend immense appreciation to PaperCutKeyra. Her investment and unwavering belief in Instant Dodge have been transformative. PaperCutKeyra is the reason we have our team logo, merchandise, professional streaming overlays, and the dedicated fanbase we enjoy today. Each and every person mentioned has contributed significantly to Instant Dodge, and they all deserve recognition and gratitude for their dedication over the years.
As Captain, I am immensely proud and thankful for every moment spent with this team, both inside and outside of the game. The support we received, the relationships we built, and the memories we created are invaluable and will be forever cherished. Like all great stories, our chapter as Instant Dodge is coming to a close. Furthermore, I will be retiring from the Dead by Daylight competitive scene, alongside long-standing original members Blazer3678 and Chaos Nightmare.
I sincerely hope everyone has enjoyed watching Instant Dodge evolve and compete over the years, with myself as Captain and Blazer and Chaos by my side since the beginning. Blazer and Chaos are exceptional individuals, and I am honored to have not only been teammates with them but also to call them friends. We are proud of everything Instant Dodge has accomplished. Despite our recent BOTB loss, we encourage everyone to reflect on our overall achievements and the contributions we made to elevate the North American Dead by Daylight competitive scene. We achieved periods of dominance, and that legacy will endure.
Looking ahead, JTrain and VeryTrackDisco will continue to compete in Dead by Daylight. Please continue to support them as they embark on their next competitive journeys. I am incredibly proud to have mentored such a talented group of players over the years and to see them continue to pursue competitive play, carrying with them the experience gained as part of Instant Dodge. Thank you all for being part of this incredible adventure with us.
