Throne and Liberty Server Transfer: Everything You Need to Know

As the content creator for rental-server.net, we’re diving deep into the upcoming server changes for Throne and Liberty. Prepare for a smoother and more vibrant gameplay experience as NCSOFT implements server consolidation to optimize player distribution. This comprehensive guide will walk you through each phase of the Throne And Liberty Server Transfer process, ensuring you’re fully informed and ready for the changes.

To create a more stable and engaging environment for all players, Throne and Liberty is undergoing a server consolidation initiative. This process is designed to normalize player populations across servers, leading to a more dynamic and refreshed gameplay experience. The server adjustments will roll out in three distinct phases: Auction House Consolidation, an Open Transfer Period, and Server Consolidation. Alongside these changes, players can look forward to in-game buffs and daily login rewards to enhance their experience during the transition.

Below is a breakdown of the new server groupings by region. Note that these changes specifically affect PC servers and do not impact PlayStation 5-only servers.

New Throne and Liberty Server List Groupings

Phase 1: Auction House Consolidation (February 6 PT)

The first phase of the Throne and Liberty server transfer process focuses on unifying the in-game economy. Starting February 6 PT, regional auction houses for early access and full launch servers will be consolidated. This means players within the same region will access a single, larger auction house to buy and sell items. This consolidation aims to create a more robust and active marketplace. It’s important to remember that PlayStation 5-only servers will maintain separate auction houses, as will platform-specific servers. Be aware that maintenance on February 6 PT will extend longer than usual to implement these changes.

A key detail to note is that item information in your Favorites and Historical item prices will be reset across all servers as part of this auction house overhaul.

Phase 2: Open Server Transfer Period (February 13 PT – February 26 PT)

Starting February 13 PT, players will enter the Open Transfer Period, a crucial time for those looking to proactively manage their server location. During this period, every character will receive one free Throne and Liberty server transfer token, available in the in-game shop. Furthermore, all character transfer cooldowns will be reset and temporarily reduced to 72 hours, offering greater flexibility. Players can utilize this free server transfer to move to any eligible server of their choosing. The “early access” tags will also be removed from servers during this phase, indicating a more unified server environment.

It’s important to understand that if you choose not to use the free server transfer and remain on a server designated for consolidation by February 26 PT, your character will be automatically transferred to the new, consolidated server. This automatic Throne and Liberty server transfer ensures everyone is moved to the new server structure. After February 26 PT, character transfer cooldowns will revert to the standard 30 days.

In-Game Buffs During the Open Transfer

To make the server transfer Throne and Liberty experience even better, all characters across all servers will benefit from special buffs throughout the Open Transfer Period (February 13 PT to February 26 PT):

  • Sollant Buff: Earn 20% more Sollant by hunting monsters, boosting your in-game currency accumulation.
  • Mastery Buff: Gain 50% more Mastery experience from defeating mobs in Abyss Dungeons when using Abyssal Tokens, accelerating your character progression.
  • Training Dew Bonus: Receive 50% more Training Dew from all sources that reward it. For example, a Contract that normally provides 4 Dew will grant 6 Dew during this event, enhancing your resource gathering.

Daily Login Rewards Await!

Alongside buffs, daily login rewards will be available from February 13 PT to February 26 PT. Log in each day to claim valuable consumables and Amitoi! Each day brings a different reward, including the unique “Star-traveler” Title and the Brawler Captain Dentwerp Amitoi. Remember, the daily check-in resets at 6:00 AM local server time.

Phase 3: Server Consolidation Downtime (February 26 PT)

The final phase, Server Consolidation, will take place on February 26, starting with maintenance at 9:00 AM PT (5:00 PM UTC). This downtime is estimated to last approximately 10 hours. By 12:00 PM PT on February 26, all characters remaining on servers marked for consolidation will be automatically transferred. Note that the maintenance start time is earlier than usual to accommodate the consolidation process, and the new server launch time may be adjusted depending on stability testing.

Due to the server consolidation, several in-game rankings will be reset, including leaderboards and ownership of Boonstones, Riftstones, and Castle-owning guilds. Additionally, chat history and block lists will be cleared. Importantly, residual taxes from the consolidated servers will be combined and transferred to the unified server, ensuring economic continuity.

Siege Warfare Schedule Post-Consolidation

Information regarding the first siege warfare schedule after the consolidation and the Legion guild selection process will be detailed in a follow-up announcement by the end of next week. The guild with the highest confirmed ranking before the Siege will be designated as the Legion or defending guild. Announcements of selected guilds will be made separately after confirmation.
