Connecting to the CS2 Inspect Servers: A Quick Guide
Getting connected is straightforward. Follow these simple steps to add the servers to your CS2 favorites and jump right into skin inspection:
- Open the Server Browser: Launch CS2 and navigate to the community server browser. You’ll find the globe icon labeled “Play” at the top of your screen.
- Access Favorites: Click on the “Favorites” tab within the server browser menu.
- Add a Server: Locate and click the “+” icon, usually found at the bottom right of the window.
- Enter Server IP: Carefully type in one of the server IP addresses provided below. Important: Enter only the IP address itself, without the “connect” prefix.
- Confirm Addition: Press “Ok” to add the server to your favorites list.
- Set to Auto-Join: Right-click on the newly added server in your favorites and select “View Server Info.”
- Enable Auto-Join: In the Server Info window, find the “Auto-Retry” section. Click the dropdown menu and choose “Auto-Join.” This ensures you’ll automatically connect to the server when it’s available.
- Wait for Connection: The server will now automatically attempt to connect you. Please be patient, especially during peak hours.
Once you’re connected to a cs2 inspect server, you’re ready to start previewing those coveted skins!

Inspecting Your Dream Skins: Step-by-Step
Now for the exciting part – bringing those skins to life! Here’s how to inspect any CS2 skin on our dedicated servers:
Step 1: Obtain the Inspect Link
You’ll need the “inspect link” of the skin you want to preview. There are two easy methods to get this:

Method 1: From a Steam Inventory: If you see a skin you like in a friend’s inventory, a pro player’s showcase, or anywhere on Steam, navigate to the skin in their inventory. Scroll down on the skin’s page, and you’ll find a grey “Inspect In Game” button. Right-click this button and select “Copy Link Address”.

Method 2: From BitSkins Marketplace: Browsing skins on BitSkins? Simply go to the skin’s store page. Underneath the skin image, you’ll see the “Inspect In-game” button. Right-click it and choose “Copy Link Address.” Alternatively, when hovering over a skin on BitSkins, click the three dots next to “Add To Cart” to reveal a dropdown menu containing the “Inspect In-game” option.
Step 2: Paste the Link in Discord
Head over to Epidemic’s Discord server and find one of the three #get-gen-code channels. Paste the skin’s inspect link you copied into the chat of one of these channels.
Step 3: Get Your Gen Code
Almost instantly, a Discord bot will respond to your message with a “gen code.” Copy this gen code.
Step 4: Paste the Code In-Game
Return to the CS2 cs2 inspect server you joined and open the in-game chat. Paste the gen code you received from the Discord bot into the chat.
Step 5: Skin Preview Activated!
That’s it! The skin you chose will instantly appear in your hands. Now you can move around the map, examine the skin against different backgrounds, lighting conditions, and angles. Take screenshots, record videos – explore your potential new skin in all its glory!
