Your Role: Creating Memorable Guest Experiences in Las Vegas
As a Host/Server Assistant in our Las Vegas location, you are the first and last impression for our guests, playing a crucial role in shaping their dining experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Warm Welcomes: Greeting and seating guests with genuine enthusiasm, whether they are dining in or enjoying our vibrant bar area.
- Efficient Seating Management: Coordinating wait times and seating arrangements with speed and efficiency, ensuring a seamless flow for both guests and service staff.
- Genuine Guest Interaction: Smiling, engaging in authentic conversations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes every guest feel valued.
- Menu Knowledge & Upselling: Developing a solid understanding of our food and drink menus to confidently make recommendations and enhance the guest experience.
- Professional Phone Etiquette: Answering calls promptly and professionally, directing inquiries appropriately and maintaining a positive phone presence.
- Team Collaboration: Being a true team player by bussing tables, delivering food and beverages, assisting guests proactively, and seizing every chance to “WOW” our customers. Teamwork is the heart of the Outback spirit!
- Lobby Leadership: Taking ownership of the lobby experience, upholding Outback’s renowned hospitality standards to set the stage for exceptional dining.

Requirements to Join Our Las Vegas Server Team
To excel in server positions in Las Vegas at Outback Steakhouse, candidates should possess:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and comfortably work in varying temperatures (both hot and cold environments).
- Endurance: Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods while performing essential job duties.
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification: For all positions based in California (including some Las Vegas locations near the border), Responsible Beverage Service Certifications are required but can be obtained during training, within 60 days of your start date.
